Audio Recording @ The Studio’s Booth
The Booth is Sachem Public Library’s sound recording studio. The space is equipped with an 8 track mixing board to record podcasts, musical performances and voiceovers and can currently accommodate up to 2 people. iPad’s with sound recording software are also available, but users are more than welcome to utilize their own recording equipment. The Booth is free to use but appointments are required.
Reserving the Booth
The Booth is for Sachem Public Library patrons with cards in good standing, who have also reviewed and signed our Studio Makerspace Policy.

Behringer 4 Channel Audio Interface
· Built-in USB recording interface with simple setup via Windows, Mac, IOS or Android. The Studio can also can provide a laptop or iPad to facilitate recording.
· Multi-Track record up to 4 channels at once for more control in post-production.
· Record vocals right to your computer-based DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) with 4 Midas-designed mic preamps all going through 24-Bit/192 kHz converters.

These professional microphones are designed for radio broadcasts, voice overs, podcasts, announcers, and more. They deliver a warm, rich tone making vocals stand out in any performance or recording.
Behringer HPX2000 High-Definition Headphones
· Comfortable, rotating, reversible oval-shaped earcups and a padded headband make these headphones comfortable to wear for hours of listening.
