3D Model Scanning @ The Studio
The Studio can scan and digitize items then replicate the item using our 3D printers. Patrons can make a consultation appointment with Studio staff to discuss and drop off your project.
3D Model Scanning
The DSLR Scanner is ideal for smaller physical items for 3D modeling.
Fees: Use of machine is free.
Request an Appointment
All submitted 3D scans require at least 28 business days to complete.
3D model scanning is for for Sachem Public Library patrons with cards in good standing. Please review our Studio Makerspace Policy.
Although many submissions are completed within a week, submissions for 3D modeling can require more attention before completion. As a guideline, modeling can take 2-3 weeks to complete.
